The Maximilian-Kolbe-Werk would like to thank all who submitted an application to participate in the International Meeting “Close-up 2014” in Auschwitz (22. - 28.01.2014) and Sachsenhausen (16. - 20.03.2014).

We are very glad that our project has attracted such keen interest. We received over 90 applications from young journalists from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Austria, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece, Georgia and China. Unfortunately, we have a limited number of places available, and can only accommodate 20 candidates.

All the applicants will be notified by December, 15, 2013 whether their application was successful or not.
